Yak Attack, Kayaking

Hoover (40* 47.835N 086* 11.820W) To Adamsboro (40* 46.942N 086* 15.809W)

This was our first family trip; we wanted a short trip
due to the kids having their new kayaks. This trip normally takes us around
3 hours with very little paddling. This Trip started just outside of
Hoover,   at the “The Hoover bridge”. At the bridge the water level was a little
low. I had checked the Adamsboro water meter before leaving and it was 2.95 ft @ 0.185 kcfs. I normally do not go down this section if it is any lower than 2.95 Ft.
There is limestone at Adamsboro where this trip ends and any lower and
it will scrape nice deep gouges in the bottom of the
kayak.
